JUNGHANS MAX BILL CHRONOSCOPE LIMITED

With our max bill Edition Sets we want to pay tribute to the historical cooperation of our house with the designer Max Bill, which began in 1956. The sets combine two of the multifaceted artist's creative areas: construction painting and product design. The 2019 set, limited to 222 units, is dedicated to the fascinating world of watchmaking mechanics. It includes an automatic chronograph and a table clock with an eight-day mechanism. In both, the back of the case is decorated with a work by Max Bill: the 15 variation of the series 'quinze variations sur un même thème'. Starting from the thematic background of geometry, variation 15 'reproduces, from a series of circles, a movement similar to that of a spiral,' as described by its own author, Max Bill.
